About Mo Gan Mountain
登莫干山记
是岁十月有遐，乃往浙之莫干。霜露其时，薄凉侵衣。从德清买车登山，道既迂曲，木亦森然，竹植处处，与游风相激，有瑟瑟声。至山中，饮宿客馆，稍醺。乃划然长啸，乘兴踏青。已而暮色四合，寻壑经丘，影影绰绰而已。悄然失志，归寝。
次日游皇后别墅松月楼白云山馆等处，筑皆依岩，设不同俗。剑以名山，寒以著泉。木石凛凛，劲然虬然。山人云，此地曾有江山美人，英雄豪杰，无边松月，快哉天风；然百年兴废，一言难尽；春秋旧事，莫问是非！唯山中雾竹，与岩上泠泉，能结往古之翠，可传千岁之寒也。
骋目四顾，万顷所如。风波不兴，照日和煦。时有林禽，往来幽鸣：声也嘤嘤，迹亦盈盈；纤纤红叶，翩翩幽篁。岂非武陵故地，世外桃源邪？怅留久之。沧桑如此，能无慨乎？既往悠悠兮，江山如梦；今夕何夕兮，风月殊异。是为记。
